Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for your flash-ask subscription. By purchasing the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.


1. Eligibility

Refund requests are accepted under the following conditions:

  • The request is submitted within 7 calendar days from the date of the charge.
  • The request is submitted by the account holder (the Google account associated with the purchase).
  • The account has not exceeded the maximum of 2 refunds over its lifetime (see Section 4).

Refunds are available regardless of the payment method used (credit card, debit card, or PayPal).


2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to [email protected] with the following information:

  1. Subject line: "Refund Request"
  2. Email address associated with your flash-ask account.
  3. Reason for the refund request.

Requests that do not include the account email address and a reason for the refund may experience delays in processing.


3. Processing

4. Refund Limit

Each flash-ask account is entitled to a maximum of 2 refunds over the lifetime of the account. Once this limit is reached, no further refund requests will be approved.

This limit exists to prevent abuse of the refund process while still protecting users who have a genuine need for a refund.


5. What Happens After a Refund

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period. You will not lose access immediately.
  • At the end of the paid period, your subscription will not renew and access to the Service will be suspended.
  • If you had a recurring payment configured (e.g., via PayPal), it will be cancelled on our end as part of the refund process.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • The request is submitted after the 7-day window from the date of the charge.
  • The account has already received 2 or more refunds.
  • The account was terminated for violation of the Terms of Service.
  • The charge corresponds to a previous billing cycle (only the most recent charge is eligible).

7. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation and refunds are separate processes:

To cancel without requesting a refund, manage your subscription through your payment provider (PayPal account settings or your bank's recurring payments section).


8. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider. Unresolved chargebacks may result in account suspension.


9. EU Consumers

If you are located in the European Union, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of purchase under the Consumer Rights Directive. However, by purchasing flash-ask and requesting immediate access to the digital service, you acknowledge and agree that the right of withdrawal is waived upon service activation, as permitted under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

If you did not explicitly consent to immediate access, you may exercise your right of withdrawal by contacting [email protected] within 14 days of purchase.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version at flash-ask.com/refunds with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
